Staff is very friendly. Food is delicious. The space isn't very big. It isn't ideal for larger parties. It is a long wait for tables and food. Granted we went during prime breakfast time on a Sunday. So just go there with that in mind! Overall a good experience with great food.

The food was great, one of the best pancakes best breakfast potatoes and some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had honestly. I was surprised. We waited a long time but service was good overall for a busy Saturday morning. Cost was a little high but I don't really regret it. Think I spent almost $20 on my meal. Oh, and they played great music which was a bonus.

Amazing breakfast. Coffee is good (I'm super picky). Had eggs, bacon, potatoes and blueberry pancake (not the fluffiest but quite good). Friendly service.

I was recommended Goldy's by a few locals and it had lots of reviews so I figured it was worth a try! The space is smaller than I anticipated but it's cozy, cute and unique. At 12:00pm on a Thursday it was pretty quiet luckily for me! Every server seemed to be pretty nice and laid back. It also didn't take long to get my food. I was in and out in less than an hour! I will say that I think the food is overpriced. I felt this before even going to the restaurant just by looking at the menu, and it was confirmed once I finished my meal. However, it seemed to me like they use pretty fresh and quality whole foods. The chicken and turkey sausage was among the best I have had at a restaurant, the potatoes were also good (although maybe a little oily) and the eggs were good quality as well! The pancake was good, maybe slightly doughy in the middle and a bit sweet. Overall though, I had a good experience and I really appreciate the number of options they give you when building your breakfast. I'm not mad at the recommendation.

What a great find. We flew into town and wanted a good breakfast. We did have to wait 20 minutes but they have a cute coffee shop around the corner to wait at. The sweet potato hash browns were amazing. We loved the sausage patty as well. Definitely worth the stop.

We came to Goldy's years ago and came back this week while in Boise. We came on a Wednesday morning at 8am and they were busy, but they had two tables open. We were warmly greeted and our drink orders taken. Our server , Raquel, was sweet and perky. We love the "build your breakfast" option, which we both ordered. Our eggs were perfectly cooked. The beet hash is so delicious; I remembered it from years ago. The English muffin was good and the marionberry jam was excellent! My husband remembered the blueberry muffin was delish, but they didn't have them today. We tried the bread pudding muffin. It was ok, but a little dry. All in all, it was a very nice experience at Goldy's and we look forward to our next visit.

Great spot for a diner style breakfast or brunch in downtown Boise! The eggs Benny were actually pretty cheap too and the hashbrowns were awesome. Only complaints are a bit of a long wait for food once we ordered (we were seated right away somehow on a busy weekend). And the iced coffee I got tasted like watered down black coffee that had just been iced. I asked for a cold brew and I would have a hard time believing that this was prepared as a true cold brew! Minor details - I would go back. The food slaps.

Several people recommended Goldy's, but they all told me to go early and prepare for a wait. Well, I'm happy to report that on a Saturday morning at 7:30, I was able to walk right in and get a table. The early bird gets the worm, people, or at least the hot cup of coffee. Service is fantastic-my coffee and water was refilled frequently and the folks who were waiting on guests were friendly and welcoming. The food was also very good and the portions were large. I ate maybe half of my meal and then boxed up the rest for later. I'll be back-nice and early.
